About The Position

This full-time position involves receiving, organizing, and maintaining feed ingredient inventories in the Mankato warehouse. The role also includes transporting packaged feed and feed ingredients as scheduled. The operator is expected to support the company's vision, mission, and business values, project a positive attitude, and provide outstanding customer service. Compliance with FDA's Good Manufacturing Policies, New Vision Co-op’s policies and procedures, and HACCP standards is required. Responsibilities include verifying inventory, monitoring inventory systems, organizing and moving stock on a first-in, first-out basis, completing reports, maintaining safe operating practices and equipment, and scheduling bag deliveries. The role also involves repairing damaged packaging, assisting with bagging operations, coordinating floor stock inventory, delivering feed, picking up ingredients, informing supervisors of delivery problems, complying with traffic laws, and performing routine maintenance on transportation equipment to ensure compliance with MNDOT regulations.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Valid Class A CDL with health card and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

  • Verify quantity, quality and package integrity of inbound and outbound warehouse inventory and record any deviations from the bill of lading and notify Feed Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Monitor micro bin system and tote rack inventory on a “keep full” basis.
  • Organize, maintain and move warehouse inventory on a first in, first out schedule.
  • Complete all reports as required by supervisor.
  • Maintain safe operating practices and valid certifications on all warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and keep all work areas clean.
  • Schedule bag deliveries and communicate delays or changes with Site Manager.
  • Repair damaged packaging and adjust inventory as necessary with supervisor approval if discarding of product is required.
  • Assist with bagging operations.
  • Coordinate adequate floor stock inventory with Site Manager.
  • Deliver feed and pick up feed ingredients according to supervisor’s instructions.
  • Inform supervisor of delivery problems.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and operate all equipment in a safe manner.
  • Do routine maintenance and repair on transportation equipment.
  • Keep transportation equipment in compliance with MNDOT regulations.
