About The Position

This role involves receiving, organizing, and maintaining feed ingredient inventories in the Mankato warehouse. The position also includes transporting packaged feed and feed ingredients as scheduled. The operator is expected to support the company's vision, mission, and business values, project a positive attitude, and provide outstanding customer service. Compliance with FDA's Good Manufacturing Policies, New Vision Co-op's policies and procedures, and HACCP standards is required. The role also involves routine maintenance and repair of transportation equipment and ensuring compliance with MNDOT regulations.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/GED
  • Valid Class A CDL with health card and acceptable MVR.
  • Maintenance and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, organize, and maintain feed ingredient inventories.
  • Transport packaged feed and feed ingredients.
  • Verify quantity, quality, and package integrity of inbound and outbound warehouse inventory.
  • Record deviations from the bill of lading and notify the Feed Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Monitor micro bin system and tote rack inventory on a "keep full" basis.
  • Organize, maintain, and move warehouse inventory on a first-in, first-out schedule.
  • Complete all reports as required by supervisor.
  • Maintain safe operating practices and valid certifications on all warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and keep all work areas clean.
  • Schedule bag deliveries and communicate delays or changes with the Site Manager.
  • Repair damaged packaging and adjust inventory as necessary.
  • Assist with bagging operations.
  • Coordinate adequate floor stock inventory with the Site Manager.
  • Deliver feed and pick up feed ingredients according to supervisor’s instructions.
  • Inform supervisor of delivery problems.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and operate all equipment in a safe manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on transportation equipment.
  • Keep transportation equipment in compliance with MNDOT regulations.
