About The Position

The Feed Truck Driver delivers feed from the mill to cattle bunks in the yard. Using feeding software, the driver ensures cattle receive the proper rations. This position reports to the Feed Manager.

The El Oro Feed Yard is located in Moses Lake, Washington, and focuses on maintaining optimal health and well-being for its animals. Agri Beef is a family-owned company founded in 1968, with vertically integrated beef production operations across Idaho and Washington. Requirements

• Skills to operate and perform daily maintenance on a feed truck and other feeding equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cattle, commodities, and computers.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Load feed onto trucks.
• Drive the feed truck to the appropriate bunks.
• Dispense the correct feed into bunks in an evenly distributed manner.
• Use the applicable feeding software system to ensure proper rations are delivered.
• Notify appropriate personnel about cattle issues and needed repairs or maintenance.
• Inspect truck equipment and perform minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
