About The Position

AgState is seeking a motivated Feed Truck Driver to deliver feed goods to customers while providing excellent customer service and following safety standards. The driver works with customers, coworkers, and other departments and may assist other locations as needed.

Requirements

• Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements.
• Be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds from the floor to a height of 48 inches.
• Have a high level of attention to detail.
• Be prepared to wear a respirator if necessary.
• Have and maintain a valid Class A CDL.
• Have no restrictions that prevent driving a manual transmission.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of driving experience; the company is willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers and collaborating with coworkers and other AgState departments.
• Drive a truck to deliver feed goods to customers.
• Perform regular truck maintenance checks and daily pre-trip inspections.
• Schedule maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload the truck efficiently.
• Keep the truck clean and organized to maintain AgState’s professional image.
• Assist with other locations as needed.
• Work as a team player.
• Work safely and efficiently in accordance with AgState’s Safety Policy.
