Feed Sales Specialist - BEEF
About The Position
AGRILAND FS is seeking a customer-focused Feed Sales Specialist to grow our feed business and support cattle producers within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who understands animal nutrition, enjoys building customer relationships, and can identify opportunities to provide products and recommendations that meet customers' needs. You'll have the flexibility to work throughout your territory while managing your customer base, developing new business, and staying informed on market and competitive activity. Requirements
- Strong understanding of animal nutrition, particularly cattle
- Strong business judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Customer-focused approach and willingness to develop new business
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
- Self-motivated attitude and a strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Feed industry or feed supply experience is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
- Develop new business through proactive prospecting and targeted sales efforts
- Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate feed products and services
- Provide value-added nutrition recommendations to cattle producers
- Monitor the competitive market and identify opportunities for growth
- Manage an assigned territory while maintaining strong organization and time management
- Work closely with customers and AGRILAND FS team members to provide solutions and quality service
- Use professional sales techniques to grow profitable feed sales
