About The Position

This hands-on role is responsible for producing bulk and bagged feed, maintaining feed quality and safety standards, and assisting with grain handling during harvest and other peak seasons. The starting pay range for those new to the business is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on job-related skills, background experience, and industry knowledge. We are a member-owned cooperative dedicated to serving producers, communities, homeowners, and businesses across Southern Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. We welcome you to join our growing team!

Requirements

  • Able to perform heavy work by lifting 100 pounds occasionally, 60 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Willing to work near moving equipment, confined spaces, and in elevated areas and climb ladders, grain bins, and grain legs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn equipment operation and obtain a Class B CDL with air-brake endorsement.
  • Work in dusty conditions and all-weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and load bulk and bagged feed.
  • Monitor feed quality and maintain accurate production records.
  • Receive and unload feed ingredients and grain.
  • Assist with grain handling, truck loading and unloading, and facility upkeep.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
  • Follow all feed safety, biosecurity, and workplace safety procedures.
