About The Position
This role involves assisting with the manufacturing and delivery of bulk feed, contributing to facility maintenance, and ensuring an organized warehouse. The position requires a high school diploma, a Class A CDL, and the ability to operate various heavy machinery. Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to assist in other divisions are also important.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL, and be an insurable driver
- Willingness to help in other divisions—tanker and hazmat endorsements may be needed
- Must be able to pass DOT required physical and related drug test
- Ability to operate tractors, semi’s, grain trucks, loaders, and conveyors
- Availability to work extended hours during peak seasons
- Computer and data entry skills
- Must be able to follow directions and effectively communicate with others
- Ability to lift 55lbs., climb ladders and/or rail cars, stairs, and bins
- May also be required to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to work in grain dust and during inclement weather
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position
Nice To Haves
- Agriculture background preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with the manufacturing of bulk feed
- Contribute to facility and equipment maintenance
- Help with bulk feed loadout
- Deliver bulk feed to customer location
- Maintain an organized warehouse
- Complete bagged feed deliveries as needed
- General housekeeping as required
