Requirements

Manufacturing, agricultural, feed, grain, or related experience is helpful but not required
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic math skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and customer service
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, and varying temperatures
Ability to safely operate equipment and follow all safety procedures

Responsibilities

Manufacture livestock feed according to established formulas and quality standards
Operate feed mill equipment including mixers, grinders, batching systems, conveyors, and related equipment
Load and unload ingredients and finished products
Monitor production processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Complete required production and quality control documentation
Assist with auto bagger, palletizing, and staging finished feed products
Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or product quality concerns promptly
Work closely with coworkers to meet daily production goals
Support other feed mill activities as needed
