About The Position

This is a Feed Operations Technician position with a focus on the 2nd shift, from 2 pm to 10 pm. The role is with a leading Feed Retailer company in Iowa and nationally. The technician will work within the Feed Division, responsible for receiving feed ingredients and ensuring timely fulfillment of feed orders. Requirements

Must be an energetic team player with a positive attitude.
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to drive forklift.

Nice To Haves

May require a Class ACDL or be willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service.
Operate control room/scale in feed mill setting providing sound technical ability.
Receive feed ingredients and transfer to appropriate bins.
Fill feed orders daily, ensuring quality and satisfaction for the customer base.
Documentation of maintenance according to OSHA Standards.
Assist with the performance of daily maintenance checks on all running equipment.
Comply with all company housekeeping standards.
Make minor improvements to equipment and facilities, as needed.
Assist with other locations, as needed.
Monitor bin inventories to ensure adequate operating inventories for all shifts.
Perform quality assurance checks daily, weekly, and monthly.
Keep work areas clean, well swept, and neat in appearance always.
Operations of PLC’s.
Comply with all company safety policies for AgState.
Other duties as assigned.
