Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within a feed mill or similar industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of successful industrial maintenance experience required.
Ability to perform troubleshooting, repair and assembly of any feed mill equipment.
Ability to read and speak English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Experience in pneumatic systems including compressors, cylinders and solenoid valve troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

Nice To Haves

Technical training or certifications in mechanical maintenance are preferred.
Class A CDL - Preferred but nor required

Responsibilities

Conduct daily maintenance activities on feed mill machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Set up and execute maintenance schedules, including routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines when performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments.
Evaluate equipment performance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, documenting all work performed and parts used.
Assist in the installation, replacement, and adjustment of feed mill equipment as needed.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
