About The Position

JBS USA Live Pork in Hedrick, Iowa is looking for a full-time 2nd shift Feed Mill Production Technician. This position is responsible for the manufacturing and shipping of animal feed. Requirements

• Must be able to read/comprehend English and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Good math skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e. grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, coolers.
• Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels.
• Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements.
• Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.
• Keep accurate, legible records.
• Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace.
• Any other duties assigned by management.
