Oversee all activities and maintenance of a feed mill facility. This role involves monitoring feed sampling, preventive maintenance, completing paperwork and reports, and matching feed delivery tickets. The position requires decision-making that can have a significant impact on the work area/department and involves solving problems at the work unit or department level. The work requires the use of a variety of procedures, policies, and/or standards, with moderate analytic ability needed for applying guidelines and gathering/interpreting data for moderately difficult problems. The role operates under limited supervision with periods of relative autonomy and general review, allowing for selection of techniques within defined objectives. Communication is required daily internally with clerical or technical positions and weekly externally with professional or supervisor level positions, requiring moderate tact and cooperation.
