About The Position

The primary responsibility of this role is to unload incoming ingredient trucks and railcars into correct bins, while maintaining organization and maximizing space utilization depending on current stock. The position is responsible for preventing theft or loss of product, ensuring trucks and railcars leave the feed mill empty. This role also ensures compliance with all company policies, FSMA regulations, and local, State, and Federal policies, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good attendance
• Ability to work in a fast environment
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to work in a dusty environment
• Ability to work in a loud environment requiring hearing protection
• Able to lift and carry 50-100 pounds
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays - if needed

Responsibilities

• Operate auto-receiving system
• Unload incoming trucks and railcars
• Inspect incoming material verifying condition and quality of product received matches receiving documents
• Collect feed samples in accordance with Corporate QA sampling policies
• Ensure bins and storage areas do not overflow
• Rotate rail stock (First in First out)
• Will be trained to operate Fork Lift and Shuttle Wagon
• Perform routine housekeeping ensuring designated areas are kept clean
• Complete and maintain appropriate paperwork per FSMA regulations
