About The Position

The Feed Mill Receiving Clerk is responsible for unloading corn trains, other rail cars, and bulk and bagged ingredient trucks. This role also involves loading out corn trucks, printing receiving and load out scale tickets, maintaining the corn re-claim system, and cleaning various areas of the mill. The position may require filling in for other roles within the mill as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred
• Able to work well with others and without direct supervision
• Able to work in a dusty environment
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Excellent attendance, safety and work record
• Ability to operate machinery including Train locomotive

Responsibilities

• Unload corn trains (75 to 150 cars per week)
• Unload other rail cars (20 to 50 cars per week)
• Unload bulk ingredients trucks (around 20 trucks per week)
• Unload bag ingredients trucks
• Load out corn trucks
• Print receiving and load out scale tickets
• Keep corn re-claim system running
• Clean in the receiving and other areas of the mill
• Fill in other areas in the mill as needed
