About The Position

The Feed Mill Receiving Clerk is responsible for unloading corn trains, other rail cars, and bulk and bag ingredient trucks. This role also involves loading out corn trucks, printing receiving and load out scale tickets, maintaining the corn re-claim system, and cleaning various areas of the mill. The position may also require filling in for other roles within the mill as needed. This is a 2nd shift position.

Requirements

• Able to work well with others and without direct supervision
• Able to work in a dusty environment
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Excellent attendance, safety and work record
• Ability to operate machinery including Train locomotive
• Verification of employment eligibility must be documented for all new employees by the end of the third day of work.

Responsibilities

• Unload corn trains (receiving 75 to 150 cars per week)
• Unload other rail cars (receiving 20 to 50 cars per week)
• Unload bulk ingredients trucks (receiving around 20 trucks per week)
• Unload bag ingredients trucks
• Load out corn trucks
• Print receiving and load out scale tickets
• Keep corn re-claim system running
• Clean in the receiving and other areas of the mill
• Fill in other areas in the mill as needed
