The Feed Loading Operator is responsible for accurately inputting driver and farm information into the feed tracking system, ensuring the correct feed type is loaded and sent to the correct farm. This role involves directing drivers to the correct loading area based on the loading schedule, organizing and flexing tasks, and changing priorities throughout the day. The operator will also take feed bin inventory and operate loading equipment to correctly load trucks according to schedules. The position requires working in various environmental conditions, including hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments, with heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather. The role also involves working holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required by demand scheduling, working in elevated areas, and adhering to all safety procedures, including company biosecurity guidelines and Tyson Health and Safety protocols. Maintaining good housekeeping and communicating effectively with operations, customers, and vendors are also key aspects of the job. The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance, and to sustain physical activity throughout the day, including standing, sitting, walking, and climbing ladders/stairs. All other tasks assigned by management must also be completed.
