About The Position

Operate the milling process at a feed mill to combine feed ingredients per a formula to provide a finish product for deliver to farms. This position is responsible for the operation of the Tyson Mill Control System (TMCS) in the production of poultry feed. The individual must be Lockout/Tagout qualified to open pellet mills. Must be physically capable of consistently dumping of 50 lb bags of ingredients into the ingredient system bins. The individual must be able to operate a manual pallet jack for movement of ingredients during restock of work area. Must be capable of performing and documenting a daily inventory of ingredients. Team member will be required to perform cleaning of their work area, as needed. Must be able to learn and perform temporary fill-in duty as dispatcher, when needed, to include loading feed trucks and taking phone-in feed orders. May require other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Additional duties include the proper use of box cutter to open bags of micro ingredients. Must be able and willing to lift 50lbs, work in hot, humid and cold environments based upon weather conditions, and utilize proper PPE to include ear plugs, gloves and N95 face masks. Physical requirements will include standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching.
