Feed Mill Operator/Processor
About The Position
The Feed Mill Operator is responsible for grinding, loading, and unloading of material. This role involves logging and grinding materials to correct bins and silos, loading outgoing meal loads into clean, dry trailers while ensuring correct trailer weights, and collecting samples for the lab. The operator also performs scheduled maintenance on equipment, maintains cleanliness of the grinding room and load-out area, operates company vehicles around the facility, and completes necessary paperwork regarding materials and loads. This position may involve other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
- Quality Control experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills both oral and written; must be able to follow both written and oral directions.
- Team player; works well with others.
- Detail oriented; well organized; ability to multi-task.
- Good math skills; must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma preferred.
