Feed Mill Attendant
About The Position
The Feed Mill Attendant is responsible for manufacturing and inspecting feed and related products efficiently, helping to achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals. This role requires performing all tasks with outstanding customer service and adherence to all federal, state, OSHA, FSMA, and cooperative policies and procedures. The position involves assisting with the local mix schedule, preparing mixes to specifications, and loading customer purchases. Additionally, the attendant will maintain equipment on a regular schedule, ensure sales tickets are completed before loading and delivery, and work with customers to resolve problems or concerns. A key part of the role includes assisting in all preventative maintenance and housekeeping efforts, as well as collecting feed samples in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more on a regular basis
- Able to operate forklift and other warehouse machinery
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, and have good leg and finger dexterity
Responsibilities
