About The Position

The Feed Haul Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of 20+ feed haul drivers to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of feed to all sites. This role is critical in preventing feed outages, maintaining animal welfare standards, and coordinating with subcontracted feed haul partners. The supervisor ensures compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and animal welfare programs. They will supervise, coach, and support a team of over 20 feed haul drivers, monitor daily routes, schedules, and performance to ensure timely feed delivery, and serve as the primary point of contact for subcontracted feed haul partners. The role also involves promoting and enforcing safe driving practices, conducting safety meetings, training sessions, and incident reviews, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and vehicle maintenance standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 plus years of experience in live haul or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills (sending/answering emails, building/changing spreadsheets).
  • Supervisory experience responsible for a group of personnel performing identical and related tasks.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Class A CDL preferred.
  • Welding experience preferred.
