About The Position
Feed Haul Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of 20+ feed haul drivers to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of feed to all sites. This role plays a critical part in preventing feed outages, maintaining animal welfare standards, and coordinating with subcontracted feed haul partners. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and animal welfare programs.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3 plus years experience in live haul or equivalent
- Class A CDL preferred
- welding experience preferred.
- Requires basic computer skills sending and answering emails building and changing spreadsheets.
- This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support a team of 20+ feed haul drivers.
- Monitor daily routes, schedules, and performance to ensure timely feed delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontracted feed haul partners.
- Promote and enforce safe driving practices across all drivers.
- Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and incident reviews.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and vehicle maintenance standards.
