FEDFLO Specialist, Lathrop - Full Time
About The Position
The FEDFLO Specialist is responsible for protecting company assets and associates at Macy’s Lathrop facility. The role includes maintaining facility access control, responding to alarms, monitoring associate and visitor/trucker activity, conducting carrier audits, and completing operational reports. The position also helps foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday flexible schedule to be discussed at interview. The position involves significant physical activity, including standing, moving, reaching, lifting, and climbing. Supply chain colleagues may be subject to random drug testing as described in the posting.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the FedFlo receiving system.
- Understanding of EDI, ASN, and direct scan technology.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Two years of prior security experience.
- Prior distribution center experience.
- Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including lifting at least 50 pounds and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
Responsibilities
- Complete reports, including inbound/outbound trailer logs, common carrier logs, and discrepancy reports.
- Maintain access control for everyone entering and exiting the facility.
- Respond to the alarm system.
- Conduct audits on common carriers.
- Monitor associate activities.
- Monitor visitor and trucker activities.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations.
- Perform other functions management deems essential.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
