About The Position

Assist the TRiO Student Support Services department with providing academic support services to help students graduate from Southwestern, encourage students to transfer to a four-year college or university, and assist with the transfer process. This position is only open to Student Workers 3 to 20 hours per week.

Requirements

• Must be current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits.
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Must be eligible to receive FWS based on financial need and eligibility requirements determined by FAFSA.
• Pleasant demeanor
• Basic computer skills such as internet research and email

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Word and Excel
• Creativity for designing flyers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff members with internet research, data entry, filing, photocopying, answering phone, creating flyers, signing out/in books and supplies, organizing books and supplies, and keeping SSS area tidy.
