About The Position
ECU Department of Physical Therapy is currently seeking several Research Assistants. Research Assistants will support faculty-led research projects by assisting with clinical data collection, analysis, and implementation of research protocols. This position provides hands-on experience in clinical research processes, data interpretation, and evidence-based practices. It is especially valuable for students interested in human movement science and rehabilitation, particularly those planning to pursue graduate studies.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining, cleaning, organizing, and preparing lab environments
- Recruiting and scheduling study participants
- Administering functional assessments
- Collecting and managing data from motion analysis or other clinical systems
- Keeping detailed records of findings
- Working with analytical and clinical software such as MATLAB, Qualisys, Visual 3D, and Power BI
- Contributing to literature reviews or research documentation
