About The Position

The Federal Work Study Landscape Worker will work with the University landscaping crew to maintain and enhance the beauty and sustainability of Naropa’s landscaping on both campuses.

Requirements

  • Student must have a Federal Work Study award from Student Financial Services to be eligible to apply for this position.
  • Must be able to create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of their job duties.
  • Must be punctual and have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must be hardworking, reliable and both task as well as people oriented.
  • All job candidates must hold a commitment to co-create a diverse and inclusive community and actively participate in related JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) professional development regarding the dynamics of privilege and oppression and the impact these have in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of the job duties.
  • Weed and mulch.
  • Water plants (indoors and outdoors), and planting.
  • Sweep walkways.
  • Pickup trash.
  • Small projects.
  • Other duties as needed.
