About The Position
ECU School of Art and Design is currently seeking several Studio Assistants to work in the ceramics area in Jenkins Fine Arts Center. The position requires a weekly schedule and for active contributions to the area for the purpose of upkeep, maintenance, operations of facilities, and the educational mission of the studio. Some knowledge and experience of ceramics equipment and processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities
- Clean and organize instructional area, sinks, and common shelves
- Clean and organize common tables, wheels, slab roller, kiln furniture shelves, and common shelves.
- Check and report status of survey room to instructors
- Check and report status of kiln room and glaze room to instructors
- Check and report status of floors to keep dust levels at a minimum.
- Clean up all spills, pick up and mop as regularly.
