About The Position
Dentistry Locum Staffing is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a busy, patient-focused dental clinic in Everett, Washington. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Dental Assistant certificate or equivalent training that meets position requirements
- Current radiography certification (if required by state)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (if required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, and preventive procedures
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Take and process dental radiographs (as permitted by state regulations)
- Document patient information accurately
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance
- Assist with scheduling and other clinical duties as needed
