About The Position
Assistants work within the Dental Hygiene sterilization area. This is a student position with two openings available. The role involves ensuring proper sterilization of dental instruments, stocking supplies, assisting students in clinic areas with sterile techniques, and maintaining cleanliness of clinical areas.
Requirements
- Knowledge of OSHA
- Filing of MSDS Sheets
- Understanding of blood borne pathogens
Nice To Haves
- Prefer someone that is going into dental hygiene field.
Responsibilities
- Autoclaves for proper sterilization of dental instruments
- Stocking supplies
- Assisting students in the clinic areas with proper sterile techniques and all supplies needed before, during and after patient treatment
- Keeping all clinical areas clean.
