About The Position

This role leads pre-RFP capture strategy for priority commercial enterprise accounts, engaging customers 12 to 36 months before formal solicitation to shape requirements, build C-suite relationships, and build the win strategy before competitors are aware a deal is in play. It leads cross-functional teams to prepare proposals and navigate all phases from opportunity identification to contract implementation. The role differentiates by building effective relationships and coordinating resources across multiple functions to present competitive solutions. Success is measured by winning targeted contracts and effectively addressing customer requirements through strategic planning and execution. The work impacts the organization by securing government contracts that enhance service offerings and meet federal customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic capture plans to identify and prioritize must-win commercial enterprise accounts and engage key stakeholders well in advance of RFP
  • Lead cross-functional teams to prepare and present competitive proposals that align with government requirements
  • Build and maintain C-suite and procurement relationships with enterprise commercial customers, aligning differentiated value propositions to each customer’s specific challenges
  • Analyze and escalate solution gaps to leadership to improve contract win potential
  • Recommend pricing, technology, and partner strategies to optimize contract success
  • Identify and pursue upsell opportunities by aligning additional solutions with federal customer needs
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
