About The Position

DreamWorks Animation is seeking adventurous and growth-minded individuals for their Spring 2027 Feature Development Internship. This program offers students and recent graduates hands-on experience in TV and Feature animated productions, working alongside creative leaders and artists. The internship aims to provide an appreciation of the development process and how a development department functions within a studio environment. DreamWorks values diverse experiences, frequent communication, transparency, trust, and a passion for animation. The program includes executive speaker series, professional development workshops, artistic classes, community outreach, and movie screenings.

Requirements

• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, California.
• Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• A cover letter is a crucial part of the submission process for this internship to showcase writing style.

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with Google Suite.
• Photoshop and/or Canva experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with departmental representatives on various tasks.
