About The Position

The FDE – Remediation Agent Engineer will replace manual, Jira-ticket-driven remediation with an agent that reads findings and produces fixes. The role involves building an agent to ingest findings, plan fixes, and raise merge requests for dependency updates, image upgrades, configuration changes, and code patches. It also integrates with Jira to link, update, and close tickets automatically. The engineer will implement safeguards such as test execution, human approval gates, rollback, and audit trails, and design agent loops that verify results by rescanning after each fix. The role measures and improves mean time to remediation (MTTR), auto-remediation rate, and fix acceptance rate. The position is a 12-month fixed-term role, eligible for benefits, with the possibility of extension.
