FCS CT Wood Composites Chemist Intern
About The Position
Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Become knowledgeable about the wood composites manufacturing process. Become knowledgeable about the Chem-Trend wood composites product line. Understand wood composites test methods and how they correlate to customer production. Assist the research chemists in the development of new products. Specific activities will include preparing samples, application testing, and quality checks. Learn to properly handle hazardous raw materials. Actively participate in weekly team meetings and provide project updates. Learn how to present data and results in a meaningful manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of college coursework completed in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Understanding of or previous experience in a laboratory.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in lab setting.
- Understanding usage of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Desire to learn Chemistry concepts.
- Proficient in Technical writing and detail oriented.
