About The Position

Goodwill Industries of the Columbia is seeking an Foundational Community Supports (FCS) Case Manager to support individuals with navigating housing and employment challenges. This position conducts thorough assessments, develops personalized service plans, and helps individuals secure stable housing and meaningful employment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate client skills, interests, goals, barriers, and support needs regarding housing and employment.
Assist with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and job-search activities.
Cultivate relationships with local employers to identify aligned opportunities and advocate for job placement.
Teach work-readiness skills and provide ongoing job coaching, problem-solving, and accommodation advocacy.
Develop, monitor, and regularly update goal-oriented service plans with measurable outcomes; coordinating support with providers and community partners for long-term goals.
Assist clients with housing applications, documentation, landlord communication, community resources, and logistics.
Educate clients on lease agreements and tenant rights, and advocate with landlords and housing authorities to resolve challenges and prevent housing loss.
Connect clients to independent living skill resources, including household management, budgeting, lease compliance, and home maintenance.
Assist individuals in accessing housing-related financial supports, including rental assistance, housing vouchers, accommodation requests, and other community-based services and benefits.
Complete accurate progress notes, assessments, and service plans in alignment with agency standards.
Maintain records to ensure full compliance with program funding requirements while tracking client progress.
Safely operate motor vehicles for company business in accordance with all applicable laws, company policies, and insurance eligibility requirements.
Follows all security policies and procedures to protect against injury, theft and misuse of company-owned property and information.
Perform all duties in a timely, organized and efficient manner.
Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality keeping private all Human Resource, Client, and Payroll information. Safeguard documents by keeping them locked when unattended.
Keep supervisor fully informed of any unusual or relevant organization information affecting services, staff and/or outcomes for the individuals served by the Agency.
