About The Position

The FCL Regional Sales Specialist – Northeast is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for Full Container Load (FCL) shipping services within the Northeast region. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics sales, with a focus on FCL.
  • Strong understanding of container shipping, port operations, and global trade regulations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
  • Sales-oriented and result-driven mindset.
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to travel regularly for client meetings and business development.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients for FCL services within the Northeast region.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct in-person client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support business growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure service excellence and successful shipment execution.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and service solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements in alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor performance against sales targets and provide regular updates to management.
  • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and client visits to generate leads.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and global shipping trends.
