About The Position
The purpose of this position is to manage all functions of the Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) including making pricing recommendations, marketing, and the supervision of staff.
Requirements

- Supervisory Principles knowledge
- Applicable Local, State, and Federal Regulations knowledge
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License
- Applicants must meet the City’s criteria for an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Supervises staff by prioritizing and assigning work, conducting performance evaluations, ensuring staff training and compliance, adherence to policies and procedures, and making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
- Manages and coordinates all charter requests.
- Makes weekly fuel pricing recommendations.
- Serves as the Air Elite liaison.
- Manages the marketing of the FBO business.
- Attends applicable trade shows.
- Coordinates, implements & oversees training for customer service & line service.
- Assists with the FBO budget development and monitoring.
- Oversees all safety initiatives – National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Safety 1st & International Standard for Business Aircraft Handlers (IS-BAH) certifications.
- Performs other similar duties as required.
