About The Position

Agape has a current opening for a Fatherhood Connector. The Fatherhood Connector advances the mission of Agape Child & Family Services by providing direct service and support to fathers participating in the Becoming ONE program. Grounded in a Two-Generation (2Gen) approach, this role engages fathers through relationship-building, goal setting, and coordinated services that strengthen family stability, father involvement, and long-term well-being. Using a strengths-based, Hope-centered approach, the Fatherhood Connector supports participants in identifying goals, developing pathways, and building agency in alignment with the Science of Hope framework, while contributing to broader Human Flourishing outcomes across families and communities.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in human services, community engagement, or related work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility for evenings and weekend work as needed.
  • Reliable transportation for business use, including a current driver's license and current auto insurance with acceptable coverage levels.
  • Engagement in Agape's Performance Quality and Improvement standards of quality & excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with fathers, families, or in community-based or ministry settings.
  • Experience with case management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fathers from enrollment through program participation and follow-up.
  • Conduct intake, assessments, and individualized goal planning with participants
  • Provide strength-based case management to support fathers in achieving personal and family goals.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with participants, including follow-up and support services.
  • Facilitate approved curricula and group sessions related to fatherhood, relationships, and family stability.
  • Support coordination of workshops, mentoring groups, and program events.
  • Promote participant engagement in program activities and services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the case management system.
  • Track participant progress, services, and outcomes in alignment with program requirements.
  • Use data to inform service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Agape’s Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) processes.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams and community partners to support participant needs.
  • Represent Agape in community meetings and collaborative efforts as appropriate.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and organizational learning opportunities.
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with colleagues, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a workplace culture aligned with Agape’s mission, core values, the Science of Hope framework, and Human Flourishing principles
  • Perform other duties within the general scope of this role as assigned by leadership.
