About The Position

This entry-level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service, and merchandising. The role involves building rapport with customers, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude, assisting customers with questions, stocking product, maintaining displays according to merchandising standards, and utilizing technology to complete activities and tasks. This position is applicable to departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.

Requirements

Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.

Responsibilities

Deliver remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude.
Build rapport with customers.
Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Help customers with any questions they may have, or direct them to another team member who can.
Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
Collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed.
