About The Position

The Farm Store Associate role at EverGRO involves providing customers with friendly and efficient service, processing transactions, maintaining the store's appearance, and supporting warehouse responsibilities. This position also includes stocking merchandise, assisting with inventory, filling propane cylinders, and collaborating with team members. The role requires working approximately 15-20+ hours per week, depending on store needs.

Requirements

No minimum education requirement or years of professional experience
Prefer six (6) months of experience in a retail environment providing customer service & operating point of sale equipment
Must be at least 18 years of age
Willingness & ability to work during operating hours and on Saturdays if/when needed
Forklift Certification or willingness & ability to obtain the certification through on-the-job training
Able & willing to learn to be trained to fill propane tanks
A passion and enthusiasm to work with our cooperative customers to help improve and overcome any challenges related to their needs
The ability to focus and work safely when operating equipment and helping customers
Effective communication skills both oral & written
A knack for relationship building and problem-solving
A desire to learn, grow and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within EverGRO

Responsibilities

Provide customers with friendly & efficient service
Process check-out, exchange and return transactions by utilizing point of sale equipment
Help maintain the professional & clean appearance of the store showroom
Promote & set-up for store events, display modules, special and more
Cross-train to support warehouse responsibilities, helping load & unload customer/vendor deliveries
Collaborate with team members on various responsibilities
Fill propane cylinders
Stock and replenish merchandise, assist with inventory responsibilities
