About The Position

This role is responsible for farm/barn maintenance. The candidate will be expected to perform general troubleshooting, repairs, welding, and preventative maintenance for all area farms. A good mechanical aptitude, good attendance, and the ability to work well with others or alone are essential. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Background in repairing farm equipment, carpentry, and/or electrical work
• Valid driver’s license
• Above average reading and writing skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Work in a cold, wet, humid, hot and/or dusty environment
• Work with heights in confined spaces
• Must be able to pass a lung function test to be certified to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus or gas mask which requires no facial hair in areas where the face mask seals against the face
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
• Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa
