About The Position

The Farm Lead supports daily farm operations by maintaining equipment documentation, overseeing supplies and inventory, assisting supervisors and managers, and contributing to safety improvement projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with basic computer programs such as Excel and Word.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Good work history with demonstrated employment stability (minimum of 1 year in previous or internal position).
  • Meets or exceeds performance expectations in: Attendance and dependability, Quantity and quality of work, Behavior and cooperation.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Good math skills to perform inventory management and recordkeeping tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily upkeep and organization of farm equipment, documentation, supplies, and farm property.
  • Assist with safety improvement projects, including documentation, tracking corrective actions, and supporting safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate preventative maintenance records and ensure documentation is completed, organized, and up to date.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills to support efficient daily operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for recordkeeping, reporting, inventory tracking, and documentation.
  • Order farm inventory and supplies as needed to support daily operations.
  • Assist supervisors with samples, supply coordination, errands, and related support tasks.
  • Work closely with the Farm Manager, Assistant Manager, and Supervisors to support farm goals and priorities.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
