About The Position

This role is responsible for providing a range of products and services to support member-owners in the agriculture sector. The Farm Livestock Representative will work closely with the Farm Hardware Manager to ensure a high level of customer service, maintain and grow sales relationships, and possess a deep understanding of livestock equipment, animal feed, health, and minerals. The position also involves adhering to company policies and procedures and performing other assigned duties.

Valid class 5 driver’s license

Ability to lift 50lbs or more unassisted

Nice To Haves

Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Animal Science or related experience will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Ensure acceptable level of customer service is provided to customers and have the appropriate attitude to create a positive experience for customers
Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude
Have a deep understanding of livestock equipment
Have a deep understanding of small and large animal feed, health and mineral
Ability to read feed tests
Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing and new clients
Have deep understanding of farm equipment and supplies
Be willing to take training courses from time to time as the need arises
Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
