About The Position
Do you like working directly with animals? If so, we have a great opportunity for you in our Pens Department. Our team goes through a vigorous training designed by Temple Grandin. The training we provide for all Pens Employees is centered on staff safety and animal welfare.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 70lbs. or more.
- Must be able to cross train in different areas of the department.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and unloading livestock from transportation and moving them into Harvest.
- Working outdoors and require standing, walking, pushing, pulling and work in different types of extreme weather conditions.
- Working 8 hours or more a day and can be physically demanding.
- Following all guidelines associated with Animal Handling/Welfare.
