About The Position

As a Family Support Worker at Four Oaks, you will help children and families build stronger relationships, work toward reunification, and create lasting connections. You will provide family-centered support, assist families as they navigate challenges, and collaborate with a dedicated team to promote family stability. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes for children, families, and communities and to gain experience in human services.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience.
• Compassionate, dependable, a strong communicator, and passionate about helping others.

Nice To Haves

• Education or experience related to social services is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support interactions between parents, children, and siblings while encouraging healthy relationships.
• Assist families with scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and accessing transportation when needed.
• Help families identify community programs, services, and support systems that promote long-term stability.
• Support children and families as they navigate challenges, overcome barriers, and work toward their goals.
• Collaborate with Family Support Specialists, Intervention Specialists, and other professionals to provide consistent, family-centered support.
• Observe and document family interactions, recognize strengths, and support positive changes.
• Maintain communication with parents and caregivers while encouraging positive family engagement.
