Family Support Specialist (Concord, NH)
About The Position
The Healthy Families America program at Waypoint partners with parents during the early years of a child's life, providing education, guidance, and encouragement to help children thrive and families grow stronger. This role involves partnering with expectant parents and families with young children through regular home visits, offering education, support, advocacy, and encouragement tailored to each family's unique strengths and goals. The position is built on trust and relationships, meeting families where they are to help them build confidence as parents, celebrate milestones, navigate challenges, and connect with community resources. The Family Support Specialist will collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and other Waypoint team members to become an important part of each family's support network. Reflective supervision and ongoing professional development are provided.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s preferred
- Experience in family support, home visiting, parenting education, early childhood, or related services is a plus
Responsibilities
