About The Position
The Healthy Families America program at Waypoint partners with parents during one of the most important times in their lives, providing education, guidance, and encouragement that helps children thrive and families grow stronger together. This role is built on trust and relationships. You'll meet families where they are—both literally and figuratively—helping them build confidence as parents, celebrate milestones, navigate challenges, and connect with valuable community resources. Working alongside schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and fellow Waypoint team members, you'll become an important part of each family's support network while helping children get the strongest possible start in life. Reflective supervision and ongoing professional development ensure you'll always have the support you need to do this meaningful work.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s preferred
- Experience in family support, home visiting, parenting education, early childhood, or related services is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships with families in their homes
- Support healthy parent-child relationships and child development
- Help families set goals, navigate challenges, and connect with resources
- Empower parents with knowledge, confidence, and support
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community partners
