About The Position

Responsible for the administration, supervision and development of various programs operating at the Family Resource Center locations WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional weekends and evening hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling/Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years of program management experience, or 5+ years of supervision experience.
  • Extensive experience with motivational interviewing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial monitoring and budget oversight.
  • Proficient in grant writing and funding proposal development.
  • Experience working effectively with a wide range of organizations and individuals from diverse age groups, socioeconomic statuses, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with managing office operations, including scheduling and team coordination.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to support efficient office and program operations.
  • Ability to oversee budgets, manage inventory, and maintain office supply systems.
  • Ability to travel to Ceres, Modesto, Oakdale, Patterson, Newman, and surrounding areas within Stanislaus County.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support staff while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints.
  • Pass agency paid TB (Tuberculosis) screening.
  • Pass agency paid health screening and/or drug testing, if required.
  • Valid California driver’s license proof of auto insurance coverage.
  • Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points – if you are under the age of 25 our insurance company will not allow any points.
  • Represent the agency in a professional and competent manner.
  • Advocate for the best interests of the agency and clients we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises assigned Program Supervisors across program areas and sites.
  • Provides ongoing coaching and support to assigned Program Supervisors.
  • Provides oversight and guidance to Program Supervisors in conducting formal performance evaluations, reviews and approves completed evaluations, and ensures alignment with agency expectations and performance standards.
  • Addresses disciplinary actions and manages HR-related processes in coordination with the HR department.
  • Coordinates time-off requests in collaboration with Office Supervisors.
  • Conducts bi-monthly individual check-ins with each assigned Program Supervisor.
  • Co-leads monthly Supervisors group meetings to support alignment, problem-solving, and professional development across programs.
  • Ensures monthly cross-role team meetings and staff trainings are conducted by Program Supervisors, providing oversight, guidance, and follow-up as needed.
  • Recruits, and coordinates training for assigned program staff.
  • Collaborates with Operations Manager, Office Supervisors, intra-agency departments, partners, and landlords regarding general site operations as needed.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with schools and community leaders to support program delivery and agency partnerships.
  • Supervises strategic planning and annual goal setting for assigned Programs.
  • Ensures that policies and procedures are in place for all program activities.
  • Actively monitors program outcomes to ensure contract performance and successful service delivery.
  • Collaborates with the Program Director to develop and manage annual program budgets.
  • Reviews monthly financial statements and monitors revenue and expenses.
  • Coordinates and/or develops written reports as required by funders, the agency, and individual work plans.
  • Ensures timely and accurate collection and reporting of assigned program data for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works collaboratively with public and private agencies, community partners, networks, and FRC leadership to support program goals.
  • Represents the agency (CHS) at community meetings, events, and collaborative initiatives as assigned.
  • Assists the Program Director with identifying new funding sources through grant writing and other development activities.
  • Participates in required program trainings and certifications, as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support teamwork and operational success.
