This position involves assessing child safety and risk through assessments and investigations, developing and monitoring safety plans, and providing ongoing services. It requires scheduling and attending home visits to ensure the safety of children and families, assessing service needs, coordinating referrals, and encouraging participation in services to enhance parenting skills and family functioning. The role also involves engaging and supporting families through collaborative family partnership meetings, preparing court reports and affidavits, and testifying in court. Additionally, all required documentation must be completed in a timely manner, in accordance with state and local policy.
