About The Position

This role involves assessing child safety and risk, developing and monitoring safety plans, and providing ongoing services. The specialist will schedule and attend home visits to ensure child and family safety, assess service needs, coordinate referrals, and encourage participation in services to enhance parenting skills and family functioning. The position also requires engaging and supporting families through collaborative family partnership meetings, preparing court reports and affidavits, testifying in court, and completing required documentation in a timely manner according to state and local policy. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field, or a Bachelor's Degree in any field with two years of related experience in Social Work
  • Within 90 days of employment, you must have a driving commute within a one-hour time frame of the City of Winchester limits

Responsibilities
