About The Position

The Family Services Associate is responsible for the safety, security, and well-being of guest families. This role involves registering families, providing house orientations, maintaining a visible presence to enforce house rules, and accurately documenting various procedures. The associate will also ensure the cleanliness of common areas, handle emergencies, assist with volunteer activities, and manage room turnovers and household tasks. The position requires dependability, trustworthiness, and the ability to travel as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Competence in Microsoft Office
Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Identifies and resolves problems
Excellent verbal skills
At least 2 years of experience in customer facing and/or customer relations role.
Available and willing to travel to various locations and as the business need dictates.
Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs.
Pass local, state, and national Criminal Background Check

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safety, security and well-being of guest families.
Registers families and provides house orientation including house rules, policies, services, and a tour.
Maintains visible presence during shift and enforces House rules and polices.
Accurate documentation of daily waitlists, guest lists, communication logs, referrals, room assignments, check in, answers phone and check out procedures.
Assures cleanliness of house (all common areas).
Handles emergencies during their shift.
Assists volunteer coordinator with planned activities, and directing community service volunteers.
Clean vacated rooms and set up for the next family as well as launder dirty linen.
Cleaning, restocking supplies, sorting donations, maintaining kitchen, organizing pantries.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
