About The Position
This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are looking for a flexible and compassionate Family Respite Provider in the Wausau, WI area who can provide support to one family. Depending on the family’s needs, providers may work on a 1v1 setting with an individual child or provide care for multiple siblings at the same time.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- Must pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Preferring an individual who can plan and remain reliable – giving the kiddos something to look forward to.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety and companionship during care.
- Ability to provide support during transitions and de-escalate heightened behaviors.
- Hang out and have fun!
- Community outings are encouraged!
